P. Andre Arguimbau owns the Mariner Gallery and manages its collection of paintings, sculptures, and antiques. Andre renovated the Newport gallery and built the tween deck of the USS Constellation in the lower level. Andre is a USCG Master Captain, EMT, Wilderness First Responder, diver, marathoner and tours National Parks. He owns Northeast Hardwood, a sawmill and furniture building company. He graduated from Loomis Chaffee and College of Charleston.

Jay Picotte, Director, provides deep insight into our collection and has a broad knowledge of maritime fine art. Jay currently serves on several non-profit boards in the marine and museum fields. He was curator of the Museum of Yachting in Newport, RI, as well as a juror of the Mystic Seaport International Marine Art Exhibition. Jay and his family live in Newport and enjoy sailing New England’s coast.
