Jhen Kordela is a member of the Newport Artists Collective and specializes in painting and collage. She blends unique papers with mono-printing techniques to form abstract designs. She draws her inspiration from nature and travel, inviting viewers to explore the serene elegance of the natural world and the complexity of abstraction through texture, color, and form.

Alissa St. Jacques crafts a collection of sculptural flowers from antique crystals, forming a harmonious blend of nature and history. Each organic bloom is meticulously assembled from rare, vintage crystals—some reclaimed from old chandeliers or antique glassware—embedded with a sense of timeless beauty. The play of light across the crystals adds depth and dimension, evoking a delicate yet striking elegance of another era, while capturing the essence of natural forms.

The Newport Artist Collective’s “Salon Series @ The Brenton Hotel” is held every Thursday night from 5:00 to 7:00 and highlights a different artist or gallery.
