Mia Campopiano is a photographer based in Newport, Rhode Island. She photographs a diverse range of subjects using both alternative processes and digital mediums for her Fine Art projects.
Mia first fell in love with photography at the age of 14 while working with black and white film in the high school darkroom. She received a BFA in photography from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. Her work has been shown in juried exhibitions throughout New England. She currently resides in Rhode Island with her husband, two children and their 2 Great Danes Ruby & Milo.

“The Salon Series in the Library of the Brenton Hotel” is designed to give Brenton Hotel guests and the Newport community a chance to speak to local artists and gallery owners to learn more about Newport, RI’s vibrant fine art scene.
The Newport Artist Collective’s “Salon Series @ The Brenton Hotel” is held every Thursday night from 5:00 to 7:00 and highlights a different artist or gallery.
