What’s Going On?

Art Talk Gallery’s spring exhibition, What’s Going On?, will be on view April 18 – June 20, 2026. Opening reception April 25th.

Let’s be honest — things feel a little chaotic right now. The world moves quickly, the headlines don’t stop, and many of us are left trying to make sense of it all. What’s Going On? invites artists to reflect on how they are emotionally and creatively navigating life in today’s world.

All exhibitions at Art Talk are non-juried and thoughtfully curated around mental health–centered themes. We welcome artists working in a wide range of mediums and encourage submissions that are honest, reflective, and personally meaningful.

Selected works will also travel as part of the Newport Artists Collective Art Salon Series on April 30, where Art Talk will present the exhibition alongside a small mini-series of new work created by gallery owner Angela Gallo in response to the theme “What’s Going On?”
