Erica Driver is a visual artist based in rural Little Compton, Rhode Island, USA.
She creates lively, vibrant paintings using acrylic paint markers and ink. Erica received her undergraduate degree in liberal arts from Harvard University and has spent 30+ years in high tech marketing roles.
She is a lifelong creator who credits her art foundation to passionate teachers and mentors through the years, as well as learning by osmosis from thousands of hours modeling for artists and art students during college. She started showing her work in galleries only recently, in 2024. Erica is a juried signature member of the National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) and a member of regional associations including NAWA Massachusetts, South Coast Artists, Newport Artists Collective, and South County Art Association.
She is inspired by the street artists of Providence, Rhode Island and Valencia, Spain, and the work of Niki de Saint Phalle and Antonio Gaudí.

“The Salon Series in the Library of the Brenton Hotel” is designed to give Brenton Hotel guests and the Newport community a chance to speak to local artists and gallery owners to learn more about Newport, RI’s vibrant fine art scene.
The Newport Artist Collective’s “Salon Series @ The Brenton Hotel” is held every Thursday night from 5:00 to 7:00 and highlights a different artist or gallery.
