Gallery Sitka™ is a woman-owned and operated New England art gallery. Gallery Sitka™ is located in Shirley, MA & also in Newport, RI with a by-appointment option in Saratoga, NY. The gallery has been doing pop-ups all over the North East U.S. since 2014.

The Gallery’s focus is abstract art. Gallery Sitka represents the work of 20+ painters, sculptors, encaustic artists, and a few jewelry designers from New England, New York, Brasil, France & Italia.

A Tennessee native with Hungarian roots, Mrs. Russell Brown’s background is in print design. Her father is a bookbinder and printer in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Mrs. Russell Brown has a certificate in photography from Cumberland University in Tennessee, an associate degree in visual communication from Nashville State Technical Institute, a Bachelor of Arts in design from Rhode Island College,, and a year abroad at Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem in Budapest, Hungary. She operates the home studio for Sitka Creations® LLC in Central Massachusetts.

Sitka Creations® LLC is a woman-owned and operated design studio focusing on web development and marketing, with design and branding as a foundation. We connect and collaborate with businesses in the Northeast to create compelling visual marketing materials.

“The Salon Series in the Library of the Brenton Hotel” is designed to give Brenton Hotel guests and the Newport community a chance to speak to local artists and gallery owners to learn more about Newport, RI’s vibrant fine art scene.

The Newport Artist Collective’s “Salon Series @ The Brenton Hotel” is held every Thursday night from 5:00 to 7:00 and highlights a different artist or gallery.
