Chip Leakas has been creating art since he was a child. Recently, he built a 600 sq. ft. studio in his home to focus on painting. His painting style includes abstract, impressionist, landscape, portraits, figures, still life, flowers, animals, and homes. His preferred medium is acrylics, but many abstracts are "mixed media" using sand, glass, rust, fabric, paper, glitter, crayons, pastels, etc.
Chip has also worked in ceramics, including ceramic stoneware sculpture and bronze sculpture, which you can see on his website.
