Copying the works of the masters serves as an effective and time-honored learning tool for artists. Conceived 34 years ago as a fun way to hone artistic skills, Spring Bull Gallery’s annual “Fakes and Forgeries” exhibit has become a popular Newport winter tradition. Artists submit a faithful reproduction of an old or new master or a parody of the original work. The results never fail to amaze, surprise, and amuse.

Jessica Hagen Fine Art + Design is pleased to announce the opening of the 2025 WINTER SHOW with an OPENING RECEPTION on Saturday February 1, from 5:00-7:00pm. This group exhibition features new work by gallery artists and includes paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and jewelry.
