Welcome Ocean Lovers! About Us:
Welcome to Vitamin Sea & Co Newport! We are a mother daughter run art boutique in the heart of Newport. We opened our first brick and mortar in April of 2022. Artist, Kirstin Lewis, prior to becoming a resin artist, was a Registered Dietitian with a masters in Health Science working across 3 hospitals during the pandemic as a traveling dietitian. That is how our business name came to be, Vitamin Sea- a fun play on words with our logo's "sun" being a slice of an orange (because oranges are high in vitamin C).
Artist, Kirstin, spent her summers growing up in Newport with her grandparents and family, so Newport holds a special place in her heart. We are so grateful and honored to be able to create and uniquely decorate your homes with our Newport ocean inspired products. No two pieces are the same!
While working full time as a dietitian, Kirstin's journey into resin began with holiday gifts for her mom thanks to a Tik Tik she had seen that inspired her to put her creative skills to the test. Six months later and many practice boards, in June of 2021 Vitaminseaconewport.com was launched. From there we progressed to local craft fairs-toooo many to count haha. In November of that year she was able to transition into her new art career full time! And it has been the most exciting journey.
And here we are, opening our first store front in April of 2022! Exciting news! Since hitting a year at the store, Mom, Karen Lewis, who was previously a high school reading specialist teacher has since taken on the role of co-owner and COO.
Every day feels like a dream for us! We love being able to talk with each and everyone of our customers and hear your stories too! Can't wait for you to visit!
